After three years as a prosecutor in Palm Beach County, Jason Weiss joined the firm in 1999. A member of the Florida Bar and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, Mr. Weiss has handled all aspects of criminal defense in both State and Federal Courts, handling an extensive caseload throughout the State of Florida. Mr. Weiss is a Board Certified Criminal Trial Attorney focused exclusively on representing clients in all aspects of criminal defense.

State of Florida vs. Jose Rodriguez (2012-13)
Represented former mayor of Boynton Beach, Florida on charges of political corruption and bank fraud. Successfully negotiated a resolution that resulted in five of seven charges being dropped with no jail time served or felony conviction. -
State of Florida vs. Patrick Melehan (2009)
As co-counsel, represented client charged with Second Degree Murder. Client was convicted of the lesser charge of Manslaughter after a jury trial. That conviction was subsequently overturned by the Fourth District Court of Appeal. -
State of Florida vs. Preston Parker (2007)
Represented former Florida State University starting wide receiver charged with felony and misdemeanor offenses. Successfully negotiated a resolution that resulted in the felony being dropped and the client being reinstated on the football team. -
State of Florida vs. Dan Catalfumo (2005)
Member of trial team that represented prominent developer charged with battering his fiancée. Client was acquitted after a jury trial of both Aggravated Battery and Felony Battery. -
State of Florida vs. Gervasio Torres (2004-05)
As co-counsel, represented a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s deputy charged with multiple counts of Capital Sexual Battery. Client was convicted in two separate trials. The first trial included the testimony of Ken Lanning, a former FBI agent, who testified as an expert in Compliant Child Victims. It was the first time in the State of Florida that such testimony was presented to a jury for consideration. -
State of Florida vs. Gwendolyn Fleming Napier (2003)
As co-counsel, represented Palm Beach Gardens police officer charged with Second Degree Murder in the Thanksgiving 2000 death of her husband. Client was acquitted after a jury trial.
